level

add education to both sides

Maths you can see. Steps you can’t skip.

Most students who struggle with algebra were never shown what it means. They learned the tricks, forgot them, and decided maths wasn’t for them.

Level is built differently. Wherever possible, an idea starts with something students can move: tiles to drag, rotate and snap together. It then becomes a picture, and only then symbols.

Where a topic can’t be made visual, the same care applies. Every procedure in Level has been atomised, broken into its smallest teachable steps, following Engelmann’s principles of instruction.

Students can’t reach an answer without doing the thinking that gets them there, so you see exactly where understanding holds and where it breaks.

Built by a secondary maths teacher, for real classrooms. Level is free while it’s in development. Spot something missing? Use the flag on any page to ask for it; requests shape what gets built next. If paid plans ever arrive, early users will hear first.
